Abusive or profane language will not be permitted.Do not enter the pool if you suspect you have or have a communicable disease or an open cut or blister.Aquatics Manager and/or lifeguard(s) have authority over patrons concerning any safety related issue.Aquatics Manager and/or lifeguard(s) on duty have responsibility to maintain a safe environmental at all times.Free admittance to children under the age of 2.Children younger than 6 years must be accompanied by an adult-in swim attire-at all times, and must be within an arm's length of the adult when in the pool.Any child under the age of 15 MUST be accompanied by adult parent or guardian, which must be at least 18 years of age.Children 15 years of age and older may enter the pool unaccompanied, after they have be registered by their legal parent or guardian.Anyone who cannot prove residency will be required to pay the non-resident price. Youth guests can prove residency by displaying their Galveston ISD identification card.In order to maintain a consistent proof of residency, the patron must prove residency with the following documents: Valid State of Texas Driver’s License or State of Texas Issued ID card with a Galveston address, or Valid Passport with a Galveston address. Proof of residency is imperative to ensure that residents of Galveston Island are receiving the price advantage for the city facility.All patrons entering the facility must pay an admission that is correlated with the correct residency and age for the patron.Pools will be closed to the public during City sponsored programs and classes and/or inclement weather.
